The three main focuses of our Young Adults Group
-God
First and foremost, to remember during our busy lives that God is most important and should always be at the forefront.
-Community
We seek to serve our community by giving of our time and talents through volunteer opportunities.
Examples include: Preparing care packages for the homeless at the holidays, joining cancer runs, attending benefits, volunteering time at shelters, etc.
-College and Career
The group will place focus on helping each other through gaining knowledge of college related information. (Example: How to apply for college, how to apply for financial aid, how to pick a degree plan, etc.).
The group will focus on assisting each other with career-based information as well.
(Example: How to fill out a resume, how to choose the right career, how to find job opportunities for those interested, etc.)
The group will be able to gain potential career connections through the volunteer work they do. They will also gain knowledge and experience of different career fields.
